Product Hardware

Your body employs an array of metabolic activities to break down and distribute the alcohol you consume throughout your body through your blood. One of these activities includes releasing the alcohol as gas from your pores. SOBRsure is a device that accurately detects this gas, helping to establish the existence of alcohol in a person’s body.

The SOBRsure device consistently checks for alcohol every quarter of a minute. It consistently gauges the level of ethanol present, and gets its readings from the sensor every 15 seconds. This data is saved in the gadget’s memory, moved onto an app, and then forwarded to the cloud to be delivered to the admin’s mobile device.

SOBRsafe suggests avoiding the use of alcohol-based items such as hand sanitizers and perfumes as they could result in a false-positive with SOBRsure. It’s also advised to steer clear of situations and locations with elevated alcohol levels, for example, bars or locations with numerous unsealed alcohol bottles, in an attempt to avert potential false positives.
